Reba M. Waddell, 83, of Decatur passed away Saturday December 25, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
A service to celebrate Reba’s life will be 11:00 AM Thursday December 30, 2010 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood St. Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services at the funeral home. Family request casual attire for visitation and services. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Moweaqua. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com

Reba was born on January 28, 1927 in Blue Mound the daughter of Alvah Merle and Alice May Teter Rhodes. She married Winfred Waddell on June 30, 1945 and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1986. Reba was a affiliated with Salem Baptist Church, member of the Moose Lodge and worked in food services at restaurants.
Reba is survived by her son Darrell Lee Waddell and wife Janice of Decatur, daughter Nancy Jane Shipman and husband Melvin of Moweaqua; grandchildren Kyle Waddell and wife Gail and Michael Shipman; step granddaughter Loretta Doyle and husband Ed and step grandson William Shipman and wife Lillian; five step great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.
Reba was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Danny Hall Waddell, five sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter.
